The Challenge
Delivering the Paralympics team to Paris in 2024 was no mean feat, requiring specialised expertise in accessibility, complex medical requirements, and coordination of athletes with diverse impairments.
The Scale
Transport was needed for 152 athletes with impairments. This included 61 debutants and 99 returning Paralympians (including Danni Di Toro competing in her 8th Paralympics). 198 support staff also needed transport, including athletics guides, ramp operations, cycling pilots, rowing coxswains, and triathlon handlers.
In total, 350 people were coordinated to Paris with specialised requirements.
The Outcome
For athletes to compete at an elite level, travel needs to be as seamless as possible. Stage and Screen offered flawless execution. The team achieved a total of 63 medals (18 gold, 17 silver, 28 bronze), claiming 9th position on the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games medal tally.
