Stage and Screen NDC

In late 2024, Qantas announced a shift towards a New Distribution Capability model (NDC). In July 2025 this took effect across Stage and Screen. Under the new model, Qantas is proposing enhanced offers and lower fares, whilst applying higher surcharges to traditional bookings.

What Stage and Screen has implemented for NDC

To ensure that you have access to Qantas’ NDC benefits, and avoid the impact of airline surcharges, we rolled out NDC across Stage and Screen, for both Qantas and Singapore airlines bookings.

• You are able to book offline for Qantas and Singapore airlines NDC content.
• You are also able to make online bookings for Qantas.

Is there a Stage and Screen fee for NDC bookings?

An additional AUD $10 NDC booking fee will be introduced to cover substantial technology investments and the overheads of managing NDC bookings that are associated with the way the airlines have chosen to deploy NDC content. This Fee applies to each new booking made with NDC fares and charged in addition to our standard booking fees.
