Comments by Adam Moon, General Manager, Stage and Screen Australia:

“The global landscape has had its challenges over first six months of the fiscal year, but despite that, we’re very pleased with our strong market share, our customer retention percentage in the high 90’s, the maturation and growth of the Stage and Screen business in Australia, and the outlook for the coming half and beyond.

“There’s a lot to be enthused about across the industries in which we service, and as we enter our 30th year, Stage and Screen has invested into the new opportunity that lays ahead.

“It’s an exciting time to be involved in the sports and film sectors in particular. We’re leading into preparations for the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow and the Women’s Asia Football Cup in Australia in 2026, in addition to the NRL taking games to the USA, and new sporting teams being formed in Australia. Australia is truly standing proud on the global sporting stage.

“The Australian Government has expanded its Film Location Offset rebate recently, and we’re expecting this to attract even more large film productions to our shores over the next couple of years, which we’re fully engaged to facilitate the travel of.

“At an internal level, we’ve had several exciting appointments to our senior leadership team in the recent half, and we’ve already seen a shake up as we look to do things differently – because we’re anything but ordinary.”
